Some of you may have wondered how people get pictures of their iPhone or iPod touch screen to show on their web entries.
I know I did. I tried a digital camera, but the picture did not work out the way I wanted. Happily I now have the answer and it’s very simple.
Here we go, step by step:
- Press the power button on top and keep it pressed
- Now press the round button on the front
That’s it! You should have seen a flash and maybe heard a shutter sound. If you now go to the Photos icon, you’ll see the shot you just took.
Some of you may want to save pictures you find online while surfing with Safari on the iPhone or iPod touch. Just put your finger on the picture and hold it there. After a couple of seconds you’ll get a message asking if you want to save this image.
Now you know of two new ways to get more use and fun out of your Apple gadgets.
To access the photos taken in this fashion, you can of course sync your gadget with iTunes, but it could be easier just to use the Image Capture application on your Mac.
